Welcome to Phoenix Natural Therapies.
In mythology, when the Phoenix is old and unwell, it bursts ino flames and is reborn from the ashes; and the Phoenix tears were said to have healing abilities.
Many people today, despite their actual age, feel old and unwell. Many factors determine our current health status, not the least of which is simply living in the 21st Century.
Our lives dont have to be plagued by illness, chronic disease, obesity and generally feeling awful; we too can renew our health and vitality!
I began my journey into alternative medicine 31 years ago, a year after being diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis. At 14 years of age I was told its incurable and I would be bedridden by a reasonably young age.
I gave conventional medicine a red hot go for 7 years as we tried every available disease modifying anti-rheumatic drug, including methotrexate, to no avail.
My healing came at age 26 after having been told it was time for a wheelchair thanks to Homeopathy, Naturopathy and nutrition changes in conjunction with the following treatments.
My journey to health began with subtle energy medicine including crystals, gems, Homeopathy, Reiki, power of positive thinking, qi gong etc., each one helped me in its own unique way and I still use all of these to this day.
I am a qualified Homeopath, Naturopath, Medical Herbalist, Homeobotanical Therapist, Reiki practitioner, Crystal therapist, Gem essence therapist, and Colour therapist. I also have Cert 2 in Horticulture (Bushfood).
Im currently studying Ayurveda and can’t wait to add that to my tool kit.
I firmly believe that we are "more than the sum of our parts", there is an underlying subtle force which is an important part of our make up and when we can treat ourselves both physically, spiritually, emotionally and subtly we have a greater chance of maintaining or regaining our perfect health.
I am in the process of making some gorgeous creams and salves, gem essences, space clearing sprays, smudging wands and Crystal wands to sell which will be uploaded shortly, and some beautiful organic herbs and herbal teas will be available shortly.
We will be attending local Melbourne markets in the very near future where I hope you'll stop in and say hi, and maybe get yourself a 20-30 minute Iridology consultation.
In the future I will be arranging local Bush food walks, edible w**d walks and simple herbal manufacturing and herbal and Homeopathy first aid classes.
