Ways to boost protein and fibre in (which also add flavour and interest to) a vegetarian or vegan lasagna 🫶🏻

1. Add edamame (I use frozen edamame, when I’m making the sauce I add in one small packet).

2. Top with seeds (pumpkin seeds are my favourite, when roasted they add superb flavour)

3. You can also top with nuts (try walnuts, pecans or almonds, all are divine when roasted - the flavour combination of toasted nuts and cheese is heaven)

Our Story

After years of nutrition work across a diverse range of settings (including clinical, community and private practice), plus involvement in Farmer's Market Management and children's community gardens, Lara started her practice in Melbourne in 2009. Majority of her work over the past ten years has focused on women's and children's health, these being her main areas of interest. In 2019 Lara relocated to Adelaide, her hometown, where she continues to provide consultations working with women in-person in Adelaide CBD and also via Skype. Lara has extensive experience in fertility health, PCOS, endometriosis, pregnancy nutrition, weight concern, digestive health, eating disorders and mental health. With a holistic, personal and non-diet approach Lara tailors consultations to suit a client’s individual needs and interests.
