The Physics of Why You Feel "Off" 🔌🔋

We often think of ourselves as purely chemical beings, but we are fundamentally electric.

According to the Electric Universe theory and Eileen McKusick’s Biofield Anatomy, our memories aren't just in our brains—they are recorded in the bioplasma around us.
Here’s the science:

⚡ Bioplasma: A diffuse, magnetic fluid that surrounds the body. It is highly conductive and responsive to sound.

⚡ Standing Waves: When we experience a stressful event, the vibration gets "stuck" in the field as a distorted standing wave.

⚡Resistance: These distortions create "static" in our electrical system, leading to physical and emotional exhaustion.

⚡Entrainment: A tuning fork is a stable acoustic oscillator. When it encounters "static" in your field, the body’s weaker, chaotic signal naturally aligns with the fork's coherent signal.

By resolving these waves, we decrease resistance and increase the voltage of your system. ⚡️

The way you start your morning determines the frequency for your entire day. ✨

I created this morning alignment meditation for those days when you’re short on time but refuse to compromise on your peace. It’s a quick reset to help you ground, breathe, and step into your power before the world starts asking for you.

When a client walks in for energy work but their DOMS are screaming, you adapt.

Today I blended Biofield Tuning with Remedial Massage to bridge the gap between the energetic and the physical. It was a "first" for me, but the results were a total body and soul reset.

The lesson? Your body knows what it needs. My job is just to have the right tools ready. 🛠️

Why we start ON the body. ⚡️🦴

In a Biofield Tuning session, we don’t just dive into the air. We begin by using weighted forks to send sound frequency directly through your physical frame.

Think of it as a "cellular wake-up call."
By placing the forks on specific meridians and points on the body, we:
✅ Prime the nervous system to move from "fight or flight" into "rest and repair."
✅ Activate the energy system to ensure you’re grounded and "online."
✅ Clear physical stagnation before we move out into the deeper layers of the field.

It’s the essential foundation that allows you to stay centered and grounded as we tune the biofield.

I’m finally sharing my "secret weapon." 🤫 In therapy, we talk a lot about co-regulation, but we don’t always talk about how the practitioner stays grounded. Sometimes meeting a client where they are means matching their high energy—then gently guiding them back to a place of peace.
My favourite tool for that transition? "Breathe" by Stephanie Leavell
It’s a game-changer for my clients (and my own nervous system). 😉

EPISODE 3: THE REWIRED MUSICIAN 🧠🔊

How do you help a brain that’s lost its "internal GPS"? 📍

In the final part of our series, I’m sharing a case study from my practice as a Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT). My client was recovering from brain surgery and dealing with left-side hemiplegia.

Because their proprioception (their sense of where their limb is in space) was damaged, they couldn't find notes on their guitar or gauge how much force they were using to grip the neck.

The Solution: Pattern Sensory Enhancement (PSE).

Unlike a simple metronome, PSE uses the pitch, melody, and dynamics of music to provide a "rhythmic scaffold" for the brain:
⚡️ Force Cues: Using volume to tell the hand exactly how hard to squeeze.
📍 Spatial Cues: Using pitch to guide where the hand needs to reach.

We used music as an external map to bridge the gap where the nerves were failing. After 12 months, they graduated therapy—regaining their proficiency and the confidence to rejoin their music community. 🎹🎸

The brain is capable of incredible detours. Sometimes, it just needs the right rhythm to find its way home.

Here’s your nervous system prep for tomorrow morning.. ✨

I’ll be honest, I haven’t always jumped out of bed feeling ready to go. Lately, I’ve been reaching for this alignment meditation on the days I needed it most—and it’s completely shifted my energy.

It’s become my favorite way to hit the refresh button and start the day feeling lighter. This is a tool that’s definitely helped me find my footing, and I wanted to share it so you can use it tomorrow too. 🤍

Play isn't just a break from therapy—it is the therapy. 🧩✨

Today was an incredibly rewarding day like most of my working days 😊

This client I have been seeing has shown incredible leaps and bounds in their development with their speech and social skills.

Watching a child move from simple imitation to active, auditory processing is a huge win. In music therapy we are using tools like shakers, drums, puppets and rhythmic songs. And it isn't just about having fun; we’re building:

✅ Auditory Processing: Learning to listen to words over visual cues.

✅ Impulse Control: Resisting the "trick" and staying focused.

✅ Social Connection: Bridging the gap from therapist-led play to peer interaction.

The transition to spontaneous peer-to-peer play is one of the most complex leaps a child can make, and music provides the perfect, predictable structure to make it feel safe. 🦁🎶

The Kookaburra is the ultimate healer of the bush. 🌿✨

While the Black Cockatoo grounds us with a deep wail, the Kookaburra uses the medicine of laughter to wake us up. I’ve always felt a special connection to them—they have a bold, cheeky intelligence that feels like they’re in on a joke you haven't heard yet.

Why their frequency heals:

The "Double" Frequency: Kookaburras can actually produce two sounds at once. Their laugh hits a dominant range (around 1.6 kHz) that acts like a mental reset, clearing away stagnant energy and "heavy" thoughts. 🧠

The Sun-Risers: In many First Nations stories, the Kookaburra’s chorus is a signal to wake the sun. They are symbols of hope, loyalty, and the power of family. ☀️

Emotional Release: Their raucous laughter triggers an "infectious" response in us. It’s hard to stay in a state of high stress when the forest is laughing with you.
When I hear them, I feel my energy shift from heavy to light. They are a reminder that even in the middle of the bush, joy is a survival skill.

Do you feel that "lift" when the Kookaburras start their chorus? What have you experienced with kookaburras? 🤔 💬

EPISODE 2: THE REWIRED MUSICIAN 🧠🎹

If I don’t look at my hand, my brain sometimes "forgets" it exists.

Continuing from Episode 1, my nerve graft left me with Level 1 sensation. Which isn't incredibly challenging just a little different.. Parts of my skin are essentially "blind" to light touch, creating a blurred cortical map. This is why I fumble—my brain’s internal GPS is missing data.

The fix? Turning my instruments into medical tools. 🎸

By practicing piano, bass, and guitar without looking, I’m forcing my brain to rely 100% on Proprioception. I’m teaching my nervous system to "see" my hand through the tension of a string or the weight of a key.

But this isn't just about music. Sharpening this sense is what allows me to navigate my daily life:
🔑 Finding keys in a dark bag.
👕 Buttoning a shirt without a mirror.
💻 Typing this caption on autopilot.

Every chord I play "blind" is a new line drawn on my brain's map, making everyday tasks possible.

Next in Episode 3: I’ll show you how I used these exact principles plus Neurologic Music Therapy to help a client regain their confidence and sense of self after brain surgery. 🚑✨
