In the annual beach footie competition held at Maroubra beach yesterday, WNOW Cronulla delivered a standout performance going unbeaten through the group stages with a series of impressive wins.

Group Stage Results:

• Cronulla 3 – Bondi 1
• Cronulla 2 – Maroubra 1
• Cronulla 8 – Balmoral 1
• Cronulla 2 – Bondi 0

Four from four secured top position in the group and a direct pathway into the semi-finals, bypassing the quarterfinal stage alongside Maroubra Gold.

The semi-final against Newcastle proved to be the toughest test to that point. Locked at 2–2 at half-time, the team showed composure and control in the second half to close out a 4–2 victory.

That set up a highly competitive final against a strong Maroubra Gold side.

With the match finely poised at 1–1 in the closing moments, Cronulla WNOW demonstrated resilience and belief—scoring with just five seconds remaining to secure the win and claim the trophy.

A brilliant team performance across the day, disciplined, consistent, and clutch when it mattered most.

Wednesday morning at WNOW Cronulla we stood in the circle a little longer.

Real conversations. Honest shares. No masks.

Then we dropped for 60 push-ups — one for every man we lose globally to su***de each hour. Sixty lives. Every hour. Let that sink in.

It’s more than a number. It’s fathers, brothers, sons, mates.

We move together. We talk together. We show up for each other.

If you’re doing it tough, you’re not alone. And if you’re feeling strong, check in on someone who might not be.

Wednesday mornings. 6am. Cronulla.
