With International Women’s Day just passed, we found ourselves reflecting on the women who work here at Beachside.

Pictured here is just a small snapshot of the women who make up our team… we’re rarely all in the clinic at the same time.

Outside the clinic they’re daughters supporting ageing parents, mothers raising kids, partners, friends, travellers, and people building careers they care about.

Like most women, they’re balancing a lot.

And the experience, intelligence and care they bring into the clinic every day shapes the way we look after our community.

Emma Jenkins is back at Beachside!

After spending precious time on maternity leave with her beautiful children, we’re so excited to welcome Emma back to the Beachside team.

Emma is a highly experienced Women’s Health Physiotherapist, supporting women through pregnancy, postnatal recovery, pelvic health concerns and pelvic floor concerns. Care that is thoughtful, evidence-based and deeply respectful.

She also treats a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions from neck and back pain to sporting injuries and everyday aches that deserve precision and clarity.

At Beachside, we believe in raising the standard of care, and Emma embodies both clinical excellence and genuine compassion.

Like many of you, we’ve felt the heaviness following what happened in Bondi last night.

Today, we’ve noticed a lot of conversations in our waiting room. People sharing, trying to make sense of it, checking in with one another.

Yesterday afternoon we closed the clinic to spend time together as a team, celebrating Christmas and the year just gone. Flick through to see some of the fun! (A couple of team members missing due to other responsibilities).

You’ll usually find Lucia at our front desk on Mondays and Fridays — and often stepping in with a smile whenever our admin team needs an extra hand.

Calm-natured, gentle and caring, Lucia brings a lovely sense of ease to our busy clinic. When she’s not helping our patients, she enjoys walking, crocheting, and studying her Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced).

We’re so grateful for the warmth and quiet steadiness she brings to Beachside 💙
