Derma-blading, epi-blading or dermaplaning is the process of gently scraping away dead skin cells and ‘peach fuzz’ hairs to give your skin a smoother, brighter complexion.

This process uses a small surgical blade to gently slough off dead skin cells in addition to removing wispy facial hair.

Immediately post-treatment skin will appear fresh and glowing, but it may take a few days to appreciate the full results of the treatment. You will notice a more even tone and texture, and that skin care products are more easily absorbed.

You must be extra careful about sun exposure post-treatment and wear SPF.

Laser Genesis is a great treatment for the face, neck and decolletage where there are signs of sun damage, redness or fine lines.

Laser Genesis is a non-ablative vascular laser, meaning that it doesn’t remove the skin’s top layer and works by heating the deeper layers. You experience a warming of your skin’s surface during the procedure. There is little to no down-time with this treatment, although some clients will experience redness immediately post treatment which will resolve within a few hours.

Individual treatment results are subtle, with improvements to texture and tone continuing over the following days and weeks. Results will vary for each person, and we usually recommend a series of treatments.
