More intended parents are turning to AI tools to explore surrogacy. Not just to understand the basics, but to:

- compare countries
- assess timelines and costs
- and even identify “best” options early on

It can make the process feel clearer and more structured from the outset. But surrogacy doesn’t always fit neatly into comparisons or summaries. There are layers of legal nuance, personal circumstances and real-world variability that aren’t always captured in a single answer.

If you're planning a surrogacy journey, join our national conference in Sydney this July! Be guided by people with first-hand experience who can help you go beyond AI and online research and explain to you how the process actually works and what to expect at each step.

The world around surrogacy is changing quickly.

New technologies, shifting regulations, and growing demand are all shaping how journeys begin and unfold.

This creates both new possibilities and new considerations.

Staying close to these developments is important, especially in a space where decisions carry long-term impact.

We will be at the SEEDS Spring Conference this month, taking part in discussions around how these changes are playing out in practice.

Sam will be sharing his perspectives on how artificial intelligence can both support and complicate decision-making in surrogacy and where human context becomes essential.

Perfection isn't the standard--growth is. No surrogacy provider is immune to sudden changes in surrogacy laws. But great ones communicate honestly, adapt when things go wrong, and never stop striving to do better. That's what our verification process is really looking for.

14 Months!!

That’s how long Amy and Jonathan have been stuck in Argentina, trying to bring their daughter, baby Sophie, home.

What was meant to be eight weeks has turned into over a year of legal battles, isolation and financial strain. They have missed so many precious milestones with family and friends back home.

They have always been the people who show up for others. Now they need our help.

Please, if you can, donate or share their story. While they fight to get home, they need financial support just to get through each day. ❤️

Today, our Global Director, Sam Everingham will be appearing before the Parliament of New South Wales as part of an enquiry into surrogacy law reform.

Sam will be drawing on more than a decade of experience supporting thousands of intended parents, contributing evidence and responding to questions on the realities families face.

The current system is not working as intended, and many Australians are being pushed into complex overseas arrangements, not by choice, but by necessity.
This enquiry is an important step toward creating a framework that is ethical, practical, and centred on the wellbeing of children, surrogates, and families.
We’ll continue to advocate for better pathways for all involved.

Starting a family isn’t always straightforward.

More intended parents are looking beyond their home country to find the right surrogacy path, whether it’s due to legal limitations, timelines, or access to experienced providers.

This blog breaks down what’s driving that shift and what to consider before taking the next step.

Choosing a surrogacy pathway is more complex than ever.

Different countries, costs, and timelines can all shape what’s possible, and the “right” option often depends on your unique situation.

Hybrid programs are changing the landscape, combining elements across different countries to balance cost, timelines, and access.

Understanding how these models work can help you see a wider range of options and make more informed decisions about your journey.
