On this Remembrance Day, we honour the courage, service, and sacrifice of all who have served — and continue to serve — to protect our freedom.

At 11am, we came together in silence to reflect and give thanks.
Each staff member and resident received a beautiful handmade knitted poppy, a heartfelt gift that symbolises remembrance and respect.

We are deeply grateful for this thoughtful gesture and for the opportunity to honour those who gave so much.

Oaks Day Fine Dining & Fashions at Donwood!

Today we celebrated Oaks Day in true style with a fabulous fashion parade featuring Postie Fashions!

Residents sipped on bubbles and orange juice while cheering on our wonderful staff, who took to the runway dressed in beautiful spring fashions.

The celebrations followed a traditional Oaks Day lunch, featuring fine food prepared by our talented hospitality team — the perfect way to enjoy a day of style, laughter, and good company.

Over 75 people including residents, families, and friends came together to enjoy an afternoon of bubbles, delicious food, and wonderful entertainment by Anthony Gerace.
