KIHHC have multiple vacant positions for Multi-Skilled Domestics. If you are looking for permanent or part time cleaning work this may be the position for you.
The Role:
The Multi-skilled Domestic provides:
Catering support in the preparation and delivery of quality meals to patients, that meet individual requirements.
A high standard of environmental cleaning within the hospital, clinics and accommodation area.
Location:
This role is based at the King Island Hospital and Health Centre.
Details of Appointment
Permanent, full or part time, shift work (fully rotational), position working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.
Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $53,079 - $54,389 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
Salary range is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement
Eligibility:
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. *The following checks are to be conducted:
Conviction checks in the following areas:
crimes of violence
s*x related offences
serious drug offences
crimes involving dishonesty
Identification check
Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
*As required by the Aged Care Act 1997, occupants of this role may be required to undertake a conviction check assessment every three years.
