Peeking into the astrology of 2026, we see Jupiter moving into Leo in June until July 2027.
It is also a 1 year in numerology, which starts a whole new chapter in life.
So, next year will be about figuring out your purpose (Leo), discovering your talents, embracing your passions, really getting to know who you are and what you are here to do to set the tone for the whole 9 year cycle.
BUT here's the thing.
In 2020, Jupiter/Saturn began a HUGE new cycle in the AIR element coming together at 0 degree Aquarius, after a 200 year period in Earth.
This is asking us to find our AUTHENTIC purpose, beyond material attachments, concerns and pursuits - which is kind of our go-to, automatic programming, as it's been the way for 200 years!
We are NOT merely in survival anymore. We are realizing there is more to us than the animal body. We are coming out of solely focusing on what feels good, safe, comfortable, stable, and what is desirous. We not playing it safe anymore. We will become less concerned about competing with others for money, status and resources, or shrinking because we have no confidence. We will be less likely to compare ourselves to others and judge others and self, based on material accomplishments. At least this is true for those who are on a more conscious, awakened path.
Jupiter in Leo will oppose Pluto in Aquarius in its journey. Pluto will ensure that our sense of self, purpose and identity are real and true and NOT shaped by some false and inauthentic value, system, or any fake influence. Pluto in Aquarius is in pursuit of soul freedom and pure hearted expression, NOT based on anything material.
We are starting to realize MORE that we have the choice to be rooted in either FEAR of LOVE as we inhabit these human bodies.
With Uranus starting its 7 year sojourn through Gemini, the mind is quickly and radically awakening to the fact that the fear-based mind, stuck in limited ego consciousness isn't the only way we are destined to live in this world.
AND because Uranus will make a gorgeous and supportive TRINE to Pluto in Aquarius, we are all invited to free our minds and our whole selves to start walking the path of living authentically from our Spirit in LOVE AND WISDOM versus fear.
Neptune and Saturn NEWLY in Aries at the zero point will also be helping to facilitate this new path and new way of being.
With Saturn's presence, we are LEARNING (Saturn is the Great Teacher) to listen to and follow a Higher Will (Neptune) - ideally the Will of God.
If we are tied to the material world and all it offers us in terms of comfort, status, and security (or lack thereof), we can't live free and authentically from Spirit. Here, we become enslaved to the material consciousness, governed only by our 5 senses. Because we are actually multidimensional beings, because we have "higher" faculties that can connect with God, who is ALL KNOWING, we must learn to honor that and live from that consciousness.
We just came off a 200 year cycle of mastering the physical, material realm with the Jupiter/Saturn cycle in Earth. We're on a whole different playing field NOW and we must adjust if we are to become more whole and balanced. This is our evolutionary path.
Next year, we will have a Venus retrograde and this will occur in the sign of Scorpio. As it retrogrades, it will square Pluto in Aquarius and Mars in Leo, forming a t-square.
So, part of next year will require us to examine the condition of our hearts (Mars in Leo and Venus in general), and see if they are aligned with our true purpose and passions.
Venus is Scorpio will take us to the underworld, to confront the things that hold our hearts and authentic purpose hostage. What fears still haunt you that prevent you from living free (Aquarius)? Where do doubts, pessimism, negativity and lack of faith kill your courage and confidence (Leo)?
Jupiter and Mars in LEO at the time of the retrograde signify BIG, HUGE heart energy, BUT Venus in Scorpio puts a damper on that.
Scorpio is the sign of death and letting go. Here, we are being asked to die to those things that ultimately disempower our lives. Scorpio can get very stuck on things with an emotional connection or charge. It can be obsessive and compulsive. Its Fixed Water. You may also find yourself repeating very self-destructive patterns of behavior and engaging in self-sabotage - ESPECIALLY in relationships. So, this will be a time of clean up and setting things right in 2026, so that you can be free to live more authentically.
AND speaking of FREE, it's the year of the FIRE HORSE. Let your imagination picture for a minute what that feels like.
Visualize the fire welling up inside you, inspiring your actions. Imagine what it might feel like to run free from a net or a cage you've been in for years. This feels like a restoration of our dignity. Horses to me feel real and regal. I don't think you can bu****it a horse. They have a sort of majestic, truthful quality about them, teaching us to follow the right path. Jupiter (ruler of Sagittarius - closely associated with horses) is all about truth and in the sign of Leo (opposite Pluto in Aquarius), we are being asked to live and love with greater truth and authenticity.
Fire also represents Spirit. So, it's our Spirit that is seeking freedom - to be set free to have a say in our lives, beyond the 5 senses that typically run AND LIMIT our lives.
How can you honor more of your Spirit in 2026? What fears have to be confronted and released in order to allow more of your Spirit to come through?
With Jupiter in Leo, can you connect with the Spirit of Joy more? How is your happiness on a scale from 1 - 10? Are you honoring your heart and the fire within? What is the truth (Jupiter) that wants to express through your heart and what are the blocks preventing that? AND finally, what are you being asked to sacrifice (Saturn/Neptune Aries) in order for your authentic Spirit to shine through?
Expect things to really heat up in the summer next year. It's a time of tests, to see where your heart lies and how on fire your spirit is. Who is the real you, beyond your shadow, your conditioning, your attachments, patterns and fears?
What an exciting new year we are moving into. We get to be more of who we really are, the way God created us to be, when we are willing to release all that we arent.
