On Wednesday we lost an elderly supporter. And in her passing she left something for SalTy’s. We find this act so selfless, and so simply beautiful.

She was left at just 5 years old in a house with acquaintances, who didn’t really want her. And it showed.

From all of us at SalTy Souls thank you for planting a tree that you’ll never sit in the shade of.

A little message from Pat who knew her 🙏🏼

Growing up in Nambour and the Sunshine Coast fostered a deep sense of connection to "her country" for this compassionate woman. Life's challenges sparked a burning desire within her to uplift others, driven by the conviction that small gestures could profoundly influence a child's life trajectory.

A memory that she frequently mentioned was when she watched a young girl standing on a surfboard during a SalTy Souls Legacy session. The white water behind the board and the bravery mixed with joy on the girl's face and she moved forward. This image appeared to remind her of the extraordinary resilience, and hope, within children.

Rest in peace. We hope wherever you are, you too can now be riding the waves in heaven xoxo
