Because yes, it looks dramatic, but warming up properly is one of the biggest cheat codes for better running.
A good warm up switches your muscles on, wakes up your nervous system, gets your joints moving through the ranges you’re about to use, and tells your body “hey mate… we’re about to do something other than sit at a desk.”
Most of the niggles we see in the clinic come from cold starts, tight hips, sleepy glutes, and people launching into a run like they’re late for a Jetstar flight.
So take the extra few minutes.
Get your body primed.
Run smarter, not sorer.
Your future knees will thank you later!!
