The baggage I carry, a terrible plight,
Like rocks in my pockets, obscuring the light.
But look! A dragonfly, zipping around,
Carrying worries? Not a single pound!
Those shimmering wings, so delicate, so free,
Inspire a lesson, especially for me.
To ditch all the drama, the guilt and the shame,
Leave troubles behind, isn't life just a game?
So next time I'm burdened, and feeling quite blue,
I'll picture that dragonfly, and what I should do.
I'll flap my own arms, in a comical style,
And imagine my worries flying away, mile after mile!
Okay, so I can't actually fly, that's absurd,
But the spirit of lightness? That's the powerful word!
Like a dragonfly dancing, so graceful and bright,
I'll let go of the heavy and embrace the light.
(Just a warning to all, just watch out for windshields, they're a dragonfly's fall.)
