CHIROPRACTIC
Our chiropractors have a holistic approach to your health and are experts in the assessment, diagnosis and correction of many spine and neuro-musculo-skeletally related complaints. With over 40 years combined experience our chiropractors are skilled at helping restore your muscle function, joint alignment and mobility. Combined with any necessary core related strengthening program this helps relieve pain, dysfunction and prevents premature wear and tear, thereby maximising your energy levels, musculo-skeletal strength and well-being. Tuning up your spine relieves neural tension which accumulates in the central nervous system and effects our energy levels and the functionality of our whole body. PHYSIOTHERAPY
Our physiotherapists are professionals in treating a wide range of conditions and complaints. With one-on-one hands on half hour consultations to attend to your needs our physiotherapists typically utilise a combination of manual therapies such as massage, stretching, manual resistance training, joint mobilisation and manipulation along with specifically tailored exercise programs and other modalities such as taping, postural correction, acupuncture and laser therapy to help restore normal health and mobility to your body. We have a pilates reformer for your core retraining progression . Helping you to Move Well and stay "Ridiculously Well". Osteopaths understand the close relationship between the structures (and position) of the body’s parts and its function (or lack of). Osteopaths consider the body as a whole and use this in their diagnosis and treatment of a problem. Osteopaths use a combination of specific orthopaedic and osteopathic examinations to create an accurate diagnosis, which can be treated accordingly. Osteopathy is safe gentle and effective and use a range of techniques such as: joint mobilization, joint manipulation, cranial-sacral techniques, muscle energy techniques, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, visceral osteopathy and dry needling. REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Our remedial massage therapists have amazingly experienced hands trained in relaxing and relieving the tensions that get stored up in your body. Remedial massage is both therapeutic and relaxing. Float away while Jo-Jo, Yumi or Darryl work out those tired or tight muscles, allowing your mind and body to relax, rejuvenate and restore itself to a state of equilibrium and bliss. We recommend everyone in todays busy world experiences the healthy healing effects of a regular massage. A wise person once said...I dont care what the question is...massage is the answer! Our principal, Dr Colin Clarey is happy to be joining Dr Amelia Pappas at Flex Spinal Chiropractic in Glen Iris, Melbourne. The practice, like Dr Clarey specialises in managing complex or chronic spinal complaints that have been resistant to traditional care. An approach that has also available at our Gold Coast practice (Flexion-Distraction Therapy) and one that can be easily tailored as a gentlier approach when needed.

Tag your Melbourne based friends or family if they are needing a tune-up or some considered care.

We’re pleased to announce that Dr Colin Clarey will be joining the team at Flex Spinal from Monday 25th August.

With over 33 years of clinical experience, Colin brings a deep and considered approach to spinal care. He’s worked extensively across both urban and regional settings, from elite athletes to agricultural workers, and more recently with people experiencing persistent, complex, or misdiagnosed musculoskeletal issues.

Colin’s approach is highly aligned with Flex Spinal’s values- longer appointments, thorough assessments, and evidence-informed care that prioritises function, clarity, and nervous system regulation. His skill in manual therapy is complemented by postgraduate qualifications in sports chiropractic, and further training in dry needling, core stability, and neural patterning.

He has a particular interest in presentations such as cervical radiculopathy, sciatica, thoracic outlet syndromes, and pain that hasn’t responded to conventional treatment.

We’re proud to have a practitioner of Colin’s calibre joining Flex Spinal, someone who shares our commitment to treating the whole person, not just the spine. Colin is now accepting new and returning clients, with availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
