The Full Moon in Ta**us (12.19am in Hobart on Thursday 6th November), or as esoteric Astrologers refer to it, The Scorpio Solar Fire Festival. Focusing on the personality tests in the evolution of soul contact which the eighth sign suggests.
It is the sign of transformation, taking a good look at shadow aspects which need to be brought to light.
The areas of the chart covered are the themes of Ta**us and Scorpio, values and other people’s values, how far we will go to survive by hiding our shadow aspects, dodging and weaving around that which hinders Soul contact.
The ability to really experience the shadow during the Scorpio season, bring it into the light, usually because of a clash of values or self policy provides a test and trial. The individual realises they are at war with themselves and it is promised through the following mantra of Scorpio, ‘Warrior am I and from the battle I emerge triumphant’.
At these times some of the tests revolve around money, debt, hidden agendas,
corruption and just fear of loss.
Scorpio learns that being true to their policy in all negotiations is important and can be tested on the quality of their policy. Is it truly balanced and fair, does it really contain love and truth?
This reflects the previous lessons of Libra but in Scorpio the sign of death and rebirth, the individual has to learn to destroy that which is not full of light.
Human pride-fullness is tested to reveal that which the self-focused ego holds dear but which prevents soul expression.
As the Ta**us moon opposes the sun, stubbornness, hoarding, fear of loss, ignorance and fixedness may prevail.
But the solar light shines into these dark emotions and tests the individual to offer them to the light for higher study and invites them to be released.
This Scorpio Solar Fire Festival has the added force of 6th Ray Mars the ruler, conjunct Mercury, a change to battle it out through open communication. Mars and 6th Ray energy can be narrow and dynamic in its method and may make it difficult to deal with if it is too confronting.
Any negotiation during this time is challenging the individual to allow love as the basis of Transformation, reminding them to work on delivery as much as clarity.
Being able to change their point of view allows a fair and equitable process.
