Happy Anniversary to this gorgeous couple.

Three years later, and I still find myself reminiscing about this beautiful day. From the windmill arbour, to the rolling hills in the background, to the incredible guest list, and of course the couple themselves, every detail was perfection.

Ever wondered where I stand during your ceremony as your celebrant?

The answer is: wherever I need to be to best support you without stealing the spotlight. 🤍

During the important legal wording, vows and ring exchange, I’ll stand close enough to guide you clearly and keep everything flowing smoothly.

But when it comes to those big moment like your first kiss, your declaration, that just-married magic, I step aside so your photos are all about you, not me awkwardly hovering in the background.

I’m constantly mindful of your photographer’s angles, the layout of the ceremony space, the sun, the wind, your guests, and the overall flow of the moment.

My role is to be present when you need me…
and invisible when you don’t.

You focus on marrying your person. I’ll handle the rest.

Today, on ANZAC Day, we pause to remember.

We honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. Their bravery, in the face of unimaginable hardship, is something we will never truly be able to comprehend, but we will always be grateful for.

ANZAC Day is not about glorifying war. It is about acknowledging the cost of it. It’s about remembering those who never came home, those who carried the weight of service long after, and the families who stood behind them.
