Another year of Wheatbelt Podiatry is drawing to a close. Thanks to all of you who have actively supported our service this year. As December draws to a close, may everyone feel safe, loved and cared for, with a comfortable place to call home. I believe we are all incredibly fortunate, to be Australian. See you again in 2026, as we continue to travel around to Dalwallinu, Moora, Wongan Hills, Goomalling, Kununoppin and Cunderdin, giving the best that we can offer, for the 30th year of keeping the wheatbelt on their feet.

Tune in tonight!
Just like all small rural and remote towns, our little town has had to be creative to keep going. Along the way, friendships and bonds form and sometimes, sadly we face grief. This doco honours it all.
So proud of my husband, Ash for his part in it. Our friendships help us keep our heads up, in the face of rural and remote living.♥️

Sooo chilly in the Wheatbelt. Merino wool socks are the best, get them on your feet and especially your elderly relatives. For those with peripheral neuropathy, please remember not to sit in front of a heater - prevent burns. For those with Raynaud’s if your toes get cold and bluish, don’t heat them up too quickly - prevent tissue loss. Arnica is a nice cream for warming up toes and feet. Keep warm everyone. 👣

Have you come back from holidays with sore feet? It is very common to feel heel and arch pain from walking in thongs or slides, from the summer holidays. We used to only have antiinflammatories, cortisone injections, orthotics and shoes for this type of pain. But now we have ECSWT (extracorporeal shock wave therapy)
This is an evidence-based, non invasive treatment that is excellent in treating plantar fasciitis, as well as many other ailments.
Wheatbelt Podiatry, together with Central Wheatbelt Physiotherapy now have this treatment option in Dalwallinu. For appointments call Bella on 0413 901 057.

Bella is up and running in Dalwallinu and has a few spare appointments (see link below). There is still time to seek some Physiotherapy advice and treatment and set yourself some fitness goals for 2025. After spending too much time driving and studying my core strength was badly depleted. Bella has literally made me strong again, I was a bit of a complainer at the start (don’t ask Bella), but now, I would never miss a consult. Do yourself a favour, book in with Bella!
