I am a sole trader providing a wide range of services to NDIS participants, trading as Active Lifestyle Supports, I am passionate about providing unique support options for participants within the Illawarra region. I have a Certificate IV in disabilities and over 10 years’ experience within the disability industry in a variety of support roles. As a result, I have serviced people with a wide variety of disabilities, including, physical, intellectual, neurological, mental health, spectrum disorders and behaviours of concern.
I am registered under the NDIS to offer assistance in travel and transport, household tasks and innovative community participation for agency managed clients.
For clients that are plan or self managed I can offer support in aspects of daily living, social and community participation (individually or in groups), domestic and yard maintenance, support in the workplace, transport and even short stays/breaks away. My focus is on providing my participants flexible and innovative options to assist them with achieving their goals.
I have availability including weekends, evenings and overnight and have obtained my criminal history check, working with children check, first aid, professional indemnity, public liability and comprehensive motor vehicle insurances.
I am happy to meet with participants and their support network (should they wish), to discuss their goals, needs and to match the suitability of the services I offer. I would also be happy to come and meet with you face to face should you have any further questions.

DISABILITY SUPPORT IN THE ILLAWARRA

The current situation being faced by Australia and the rest of the world surrounding COVID-19 has caused a lot of uncertainty around essential supports and services that many require. At Active Lifestyle Supports, we are committed to maintaining services for all of our participants, in line with advice set out by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, the NDIA and the Health Department.
If you are experiencing difficulty accessing your regular NDIS services for any reason during this time, or if you are simply requiring extra services due to the need to self-isolate (i.e. grocery shopping), you can contact Active Lifestyle Supports on 0436 293 366, 7 days a week to assist you.
ALS have undertaken all COVID-19 training offered by the Department of Health and DSC (Disability Services Consulting) to ensure we remain up to date on all current information and infection control measures for this pandemic.
We have increased our regular hygiene practices and stepped up the cleaning of vehicles used for transportation. We are happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to how we are approaching this.
