Clearitay

Clearitay I am a Registered Podiatrist (Dapto, but mobile) and Nurse. ABN: 50 526 179 770 Bit about me: I am born and bred in the Illawarra. My biggest focus is PODIATRY.

I have been a registered nurse since 2009. I have worked in two private hospitals and a nursing home. In 2011-2012 I completed an Ear Candling Practitioner course. The ear candles that I use are registered on the ARTG as a Class 2B Medical Device. They may assist with: sinus problems, ear aches, glue ear, swimmers ear, chronic headaches, tinnitus, hearing difficulties, ear irritations, sore throat, allergies and they can be used to help you relax and take some time for yourself. I completed a Masters of Podiatry at the University of Western Sydney (now Western Sydney University) in 2014. This is now my second year out as a practicing podiatrist. Podiatrists play an important role in maintaining the health of the lower limb and feet. An area of high demand these days is Diabetes. So ask yourself: do you have trouble trimming your toenails or even just reaching your feet? are you diabetic? do you suffer from hard skin, warts and corns? do you suffer from aches and pains in the lower legs and feet? Or would you just like to experience someone else taking care of your feet? Medicare bulk billing is provided as well as DVA. All private health funds that cover podiatry are accepted also. Home visits can be arranged.

Australian Podiatry Association: Podiatrists in Greater Sydney - Treating during lockdown

We understand that this is a very difficult time, and that navigating restrictions can be confusing. To assist, the Chief Allied Health Officer has reached out to the APodA today, and asked us to reiterate the following message the is directed to all allied health operating in the Greater Sydney lockdown.

It is expected that all allied health professionals in Greater Sydney will support the letter and spirit of the restrictions by doing everything in their power to restrict movement of people and unnecessary contact. This means that where ever possible, telehealth should be used or treatment delayed unless absolutely necessary.

The APodA is here to support our members and will keep you updated as more information comes to hand. You can find COVID-19 resources in our member resource section of podiatry.org.au. Should you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our member services team on 03 9416 3111 or via info@podiatry.org.au.
