Massive congratulations to 'Lobster', the winner of our 'Best Comedy' award for 2021!

Alison Myer's innovative comedy incorporates Audio Description as a central character, who then attempts to help 'Cam' navigate the nauseating world of her blinding hangover.

Alison is an Audio Description Manager, and worked with a team of blind and low vision performers to deliver a film that is guaranteed to make you lol 🤣

'Lobster' is our first winner from 'Side B: Claw' so be sure to head over to Eventbrite for tickets to experience this side splitting romp.

Ok, only 9 awards left to announce before the festival opens. You know the drill, see you back here tomorrow, when we'll be announcing the winner of our 'Best Experimental' film award 🥳🥳

Peace, love, and crustaceans.

Hi mmy dotty lot! I have just completed three lots of business cards for clients, but frustratingly, am unable to complete a larger book because of needing help with a sighted reader, whom we cannot employ due to self isolation. So ... i will put up my ten favourite podcasts for you, and hopefully you’ll find something interesting to listen to during your iso period.
1. Chilling tales for dark nights, and no sleep podcast: there are two here, but they are both professionally narrated, scored etc. all horror stories.
2. Loose units: this is an australian ex-cop and his comedian son, discussing how the father was in the police force, a fireman, and a few other jobs. They are fascinating and very amusing anecdotes.
3. This glorious mess: from the mamamia group of podcasts, this is about parenting and families, but also very amusing as these hosts are good, but not perfect by any means, parents!
4. Medical mysteries: is a parcast production, very well produced, about all sorts of patients, illnesses and how they are diagnosed.
5. Natural disasters: is also a parcast one, about all sorts of disasters and the stories of the people who endured them.
6. How i survived: from australia, people tell in their own words of encounters they lived through.
7. Extraordinary stories podcast: told charmingly and zanily by barry from scotland, part true crime, part family drama, some historical.
8. This american life: well produced, about life in america. Current aqffairs, personal stories, social justice, comedy skits ...
9. Most of the podcasts from wondery. They are mainly true crime, but are done as docu series.
10. Listen able: is presented by dylan alcott from australia and his mate, where they candidly interview other disabled peeps.

So, i do listen to plenty more, but they are my top ten. What are some you all listen to?.
