This season is about fresh starts, renewed hope, and the strength we find in one another. Easter reminds us that even after challenging times, growth, light, and new possibilities can emerge.

This Easter, we are especially proud of our participants and the powerful ways they’ve expressed the season through art. Each piece is more than colour and form, it is a voice, a story, and a reflection of personal journeys. Through creativity, our participants share their resilience, hopes, and unique perspectives, reminding us that art can be a pathway to connection, healing, and self‑expression.

Today, we recognise and celebrate autistic people — their strengths, individuality, and the valuable contributions they make to our communities.
World Autism Awareness Day encourages understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of autistic people of all ages. It highlights the importance of recognising diverse communication styles, sensory needs, and the many different ways people engage with the world.
At TCASS, we are proud to deliver person‑centred supports tailored to each participant’s unique needs, goals, and preferences. Our highly trained staff provide flexible support that respects choice, promotes independence, and enables meaningful participation in everyday life.
One of the ways we support participants is through the implementation of Behaviour Support Plans. Our trained teams provide consistent, respectful support guided by individual needs, with a focus on emotional regulation, communication, and building positive daily routines.
Together, we continue working towards inclusive, supportive communities where everyone belongs. 💙

Please note that TCASS offices in Darwin and Alice Springs, the TCASS Activity Hub, and the Access by TCASS office in Cairns will be closed for the Easter Long Weekend, from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April 2026.
Easter is a time for rest and connection with family, friends, and community. We wish everyone a safe, joyful, and relaxing long weekend. 💛

✅ Always Reachable
Our On‑Call Managers are available 24/7 throughout the public holiday period to assist with urgent matters or provide guidance whenever needed.
✅ Peace of Mind
Whether it’s a late‑night query or an urgent support requirement, our leadership team is just a phone call away.
📅 Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday 7 April 2026.

It was so special to see everyone come together for a relaxed day by the water, families, kids, and colleagues all sharing laughter, sunshine, and carefree beach vibes. Our little one had the best time, making the day even more meaningful for us 💛

More than just a picnic, it was a reminder of how powerful simple moments can be. Slowing down, connecting, and sharing joy by the sea fills the heart in ways nothing else can. We were truly honoured to welcome Australian cricket legend Merv Hughes as our special guest at Coffee with Chamber at TCASS last Friday. Merv’s heartfelt and deeply personal speech left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

With honesty, humour and raw emotion, Merv shared his story and reminded us why bowel cancer awareness and early screening matter so much. His passion for supporting the Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation, inspired by the loss of a close mate, was incredibly moving and delivered a powerful message that could genuinely save lives.

We are immensely grateful for Merv’s generosity, openness and advocacy. A truly meaningful and unforgettable start to the day 🏏💙
