It is a honour to have spent the last 10 days on tour with the Garramilla Duavata Women’s Rugby League team in the USA.

The team comprised solely of Northern Territory women’s players.

The team travelled to compete in the NRL Las Vegas 9’s Rugby League competition.

We spent a few days in Los Angeles before travelling to Las Vegas for the tournament.

The ladies were outstanding, winning all 7 games convincingly and being crowned 2026 CHAMPIONS 🏆.

The CONNECTION and CULTURE amongst the group was a privilege to be a part of and I thank the team and officials for the opportunity to be involved.

This trip required a lot of personal sacrifice from each team member not only to prepare, but to personally raise the finances to make the trip possible. A very commendable effort from all involved.

I think Garramilla Duavata have built something special here, and I look forward to seeing the growth and further opportunities in the future.

Special mention must go to Coach Leon Cleal who was instrumental in orchestrating the trip whilst instilling belief and success in the team.

It has been a fantastic weekend on the Gold Coast working at the NRL Wheelchair Rugby League National Championships.
The Combined Affiliated States team included 2 lads from the NT - James Chapman and Doug Moore. Both guys were very competitive against the best teams in the country.
Special mention to Melanie Berard who was instrumental in organising and keeping things on track!
A very enjoyable weekend with a sport definitely on the rise!

Unreal few days in Vegas!

The Titans did us all proud as usual finishing 5th overall. Fantastic achievement and huge effort by the girls!
We were fortunate to be invited to do the official pre-game jersey presentation for the Australian Jillaroos Women’s team.
Now a day at the footy! NRL in Vegas! This stadium is amazing. Should be a great day!
