🌏 It’s ! ♻️ This week is all about making small changes that create a big impact.

As part of our commitment to operating a sustainable business events venue, we’ve implemented a range of recycling initiatives to reduce waste, conserve resources and protect our environment:

✅ Partnering with Cookers to convert used cooking oil into biodiesel

✅ Collecting coffee grounds from events to use as natural fertiliser in community gardens

✅ Donating leftover conference materials to local organisations for craft projects

✅ Working with Darwin Plastic Makers Space to repurpose plastic lids and reduce landfill

Together with our local community, we’re finding solutions to minimise waste and create lasting positive impacts.

We’re also proud to be part of the Australian Business Events Association Sustainability Special Interest Group, where industry collaboration and knowledge-sharing are driving positive change towards a more sustainable future for events.

What a night, what a night!🎇 We are still buzzing from Saturday’s Northern Territory Tourism Awards celebration.

We are so honoured and thrilled to have won the 2025 NT Brolga Award for Business Events Venue. This award is incredible recognition of the hard work, passion and dedication of the entire Darwin Convention Centre team, and their commitment to delivering extraordinary event experiences for our clients, delegates and guests.

Our team looks forward to representing the Northern Territory at the Australian Tourism Awards in March 2026.

🌟 What an unforgettable event! 🌟 Our team recently hosted the PULiiMA 2025 Gala Dinner offsite within the Darwin Waterfront Precinct. 🌴🌅

It was a truly spectacular evening, with over 800 attendees celebrating Indigenous language, culture, and community. The night came alive with incredible live performances, delicious local cuisine, and breathtaking waterfront views overlooking Darwin Harbour.

✨The Gala Dinner was a highlight of the PULiiMA Indigenous Language & Technology Conference, bringing people from around the world together to connect and celebrate.

Our team extends a warm 'Darwin' welcome to all those attending the 2025 Australian College of Midwives (ACM) National Conference! ☀️🌴

More than 500 delegates will gather at Darwin Convention Centre this week to explore the latest research and innovation in maternity care through a series of keynote presentations, concurrent sessions, workshops, facilitated conversations, networking events and social functions.
