The Darwin Convention Centre is a modern, world-class venue with spectacular views over Darwin Harbour, in the tropical capital city of the Northern Territory. Last month, over 500 attendees from across Australia gathered at the Darwin Convention Centre for the 2026 Savanna Fire Forum and the National Indigenous Carbon Forum.

The Indigenous Carbon Industry Network (ICIN) event, held on Larrakia Country, offered a vital opportunity to share knowledge on Indigenous land management, the carbon industry, and environmental markets.

Highlights included the rise of women in ranger roles, innovative savanna fire management methods, and projects delivering biodiversity benefits beyond emissions reductions.
