“It’s not often that the New York Times acknowledges that it may have been complicit in decades of medical misdirection. But Paul Tough’s April 13, 2025, feature in the Times Magazine—’Have We Been Thinking About A.D.H.D. All Wrong?’—marks a cultural and scientific inflection point. What Tough describes is nothing less than a collapse of the biomedical model of A.D.H.D. as we’ve known it—a model that has dominated research, practice, and parenting since the 1990s. Diagnoses have exploded. Medications like Ritalin and Adderall are handed out like candy. Yet, after 30 years of follow-up research, even the scientists who once built the case for pharmaceutical treatment now admit that the long-term benefits are fleeting, the biological evidence is weak, and the entire model of the disorder may be fundamentally flawed." – Matt McCoy, DC

As society begins to embrace a more individualized, empowering approach to health, chiropractic stands ready to lead with its foundational truth: the body is intelligent, and healing comes from within.

Our Story

I want to share information on chiropractic, health and wellbeing and I specifically want to share info that has a pregnancy or child focus.

I first became interested in caring for our ‘little people’ when I was in chiropractic college and gave birth to my son. I was lucky enough to have two mentors in the profession who were passionate about seeing babies and kids and they put on a seminar around this.

After I graduated I pursued further study in the field of paediatrics and began helping more and more pregnant mums2be, babies and children in my practice.

I believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and even more so in todays busy world. I see my part as a ‘connector’ - where I can assist people have enhanced lives through chiropractic, and also connect them to other sources of information, or people in our community who may also enrich the tapestry of the life in question. This happens every day in our office and I’m extremely grateful for all the wonderful networks locally that I have built up. We all have the same objective - enhancing the health and wellbeing of whoever we are helping. :-)
