Our minds are often scattered.

When we're at work, we think about our next holiday.
When we're on holiday, we think about work.
When we wake up, we think about the day ahead.
When we go to bed, we think about the following day.
When we eat, we think about the cleaning up.
When we're cleaning up, we think about what's for our next meal.

How often are you truly present in what you are doing?

Our Breath can bring us back to the present. No need to deep breathe, no need to fast breathe, just notice it and see if you can have an equal inhale / exhale duration.
Nothing fancy, just notice it ❤️

Have you done your Flamingo Five today?

This is my little reminder to take a 'Flamingo Five' during the day. That's 5 minutes of just stopping, taking note of how I'm feeling and self regulating. My early start on Bribie has gone out of the window, with the closure of the Bribie exit meaning a detour via Pumicestone Passage. A quick Flamingo Five to reset, and on with the remainder of the day.

I've almost completed my Nervous System Training course with Jessica Maguire, and it has been amazing. I'm already incorporating it into my clinical practice, and looking at issues through a lens of Nervous System awareness has been a game changer.

I'm really excited to open up our January 2026 workshop bookings where you will learn about:

Neuroplasticity
The Window of Regulation
The Vagus Nerve and its role in Nervous System Regulation
Concepts and practices to support you in your own regulation.

When I went through my Teacher Training, I embraced the Eight Limbs of Yoga throughout and after. In truth, our 'training' is never, never complete, it's only just begun and is a glorious journey with so much to explore as we learn and grow. Thanks to a few health hiccups, Peri menopause and now full blown Menopause, I fell off the 8 Limb Wagon. Well, I'm back Baby!
I am now exploring and loving the first two: The Yamas and The Niyamas and the exciting part is, I am including them in our Yoga Synergy and Pelvic Connections classes. I felt amazing when I incorporated them in my practice and daily living - I would love to feel like that again ❤️ and would love for our students to experience it too...if they so choose.
Guess how many attempts to draw that up on the board 🤣

Our next round of Pelvic Connections begins Friday 31st October 2025!

Expect a joyful blend of fun, laughter, and community, all woven together with Nervous System Regulation, and a sprinkle of Yogic Philosophy – explored through the lens of Women’s Health and Wellbeing.

This 5-week journey offers space to connect, learn, and move in ways that support balance, resilience, and ease — both on and off the mat.

If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself (and enjoy a few giggles along the way), we’d love to have you join us.
