Expression of Interest: General Podiatrist

Are you an energetic podiatrist with experience and/or an interest in podiatric surgery?

Canberra Foot Surgery is seeking expressions of interest from general podiatrists who want to join our new team servicing the Canberra community and ACT region. The successful candidate with provide general services as well as work with a podiatric surgeon to review pre and post-operative patients and receive exposure and training in surgical assisting.

CFS is a new health service launching in Canberra ACT, providing general, sports and surgical podiatric management. The practice is led by podiatric surgeon Dr Nicholas Studdert, a University of Western Australia trained surgeon and a Member of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons. He grew up in Canberra and is happy to have recently moved back with his family.

CFS’s purpose-built facility is located in Deakin in proximity to a physiotherapist, orthopaedic surgery clinic, John James Hospital and many other specialist services. The new premises offers a modern clinical environment with strong professional and administrative support.

Competitive remuneration provided. Experienced podiatrists, new graduates and interstate practitioners are encouraged to apply.

The new service is scheduled to open in November 2022.

In collaboration with Dr Andrew Knox from Perth Podiatric Surgery, Dr Studdert's research in the field of modern bunion correction has been published in the Journal of The American Podiatric Medicine Society.

CFS is committed to improving clinical outcomes for patients through ongoing research. Our patients have the option of participating in deidentified data collection that will inform the field of Podiatric Medicine in Australia and beyond.
