We are excited to share that Audiology is officially on the path to being included in the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS) under AHPRA, a long awaited step that brings our profession in line with other regulated health fields like physiotherapy, psychology, and optometry.

This is a major milestone for public safety, professional accountability, and the future of hearing healthcare in Australia. As audiologists, we are proud to see our profession recognised for its vital role in health and wellbeing.

This move follows over a decade of advocacy, particularly by groups such as Independent Audiologists Australia (IAA).

As a team dedicated to providing independent, patient-centred care, we welcome this change and look forward to a future where regulation strengthens trust, transparency, and quality in hearing healthcare.
