Exercise Physiologists Visit Complete Feet Podiatry 🦶

Last Thursday Jaiden, Carl and Katelyn visited Complete Feet Podiatry in Murrumba Downs in order to improve their knowledge of lower limb conditions, exercise assessments, exercise prescriptions, as well as the ability to identify when a referral to a Podiatrist is required. 📞

Multidisciplinary care aims to deliver comprehensive care that addresses as many of the patient's needs as possible. At EHA, we always put the client first, and are always attempting to find ways of improving our treatment and our patients outcomes.

We would like to thank Cameron and the amazing staff at Complete Feet for their time, in late October the Murrumba Downs Podiatrists will be visiting EHA to further there understanding of Exercise Physiology and how our services may benefit future patient care.

This week is seniors week in qld! This week we take time to celebrate the essential role older people play in our lives and in our community. Some of the aims are to improve attitudes towards aging and the elderly and encourage community connections with older Australians. So this week we encourage you to take time to reach out and connect with a senior that you know!

Its Psoriasis awareness month this month. As some of you know our Principal Podiatrist Cam suffers from severe Psoriasis. Between 2-8% of Aussies suffer some form of Psoriasis, this can be a life altering condition causing pain. There is a lot of treatments that can aid in the management of skin, tendon, and joint pain associated with Psoriasis. Ask our friendly team and we will be more than happy to help you.

Dear Complete Feet Family,

Cameron here, I wanted to take a moment to talk to each and everyone of you about the precautions and protective measures we are taking to protect our staff, patients and the community.

The team here at Complete Feet have all completed Queensland Health COVID-19 training and it out number one priority to keep us all healthy and safe during this outbreak. As such we are being guided by the World Health Organisation, Australian Government, and the Australian Podiatry Association.

To the end we have stepped up our already high infection control standards to help minimize the risks through the following measures:

1) Screening all patients

We ask that all patients visiting Complete Feet notify us of the following BEFORE attendance on 3482 4777 if you meet any of the below points.

1) Any recent overseas travel or have been in contact with anyone from overseas in the last 14 days.

2) If you are experience or have recently experienced Flu like symptoms; High temperature, fever, coughing, sore throat, or shortness of breath.

3) Contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.

2) Sanitizing and Social distancing

Upon entering and leaving Complete Feet we ask that you use the provided hand sanitiser to sanitise your hands.

Our staff are committed to keeping you safe, as such we are limiting contact where not absolutely necessary.

Our Podiatrist will continue to treat you with the utmost care and skill however please do not be offended when we refuse contact (Hand shakes, Hugs, and other unnecessary contact).

3) Clinic Cleaning and Infection Control

In response to the current outbreak we have also increased clinic cleaning. All high contact areas are being cleaned Hourly or more frequently as required.

We have also implemented a more potent disinfectant usually reserved for MRSA and similar super-bugs to cleanse the treatment rooms and high contact areas (Such as door handles, pens, eftpos machine and the reception counter).

We have also removed all reading material and toys from the waiting room for the foreseeable future
