This year has seen many lows namely COVID-19. This virus has changed people's lives in a number of ways. Jobs have been lost which can result in many more losses like struggling to pay the mortgage or rent, put food on the table, change of lifestyle due to lack of funds the list goes on and on. A. person's mental health suffers especially during lockdown. People need people and not seeing family, grandkids, etc can prove devastating for a person's mental health. I feel for the people in Victoria it must be a real challenge for them. I have a friend living in Melbourne and I know how it has affected her and her family.
Speaking to a counsellsor can help relieve anxiety, sadness and a number of issues.
I see clients in Avalon Community Centre and also online using ZOOM. I am open to reduced fees for people on Centrelink or financially disadvantaged. My fees face to face are $100 per hour and $80 using ZOOM.

Grief and Loss comes to us all
Last week my husband and I experienced a huge loss
How we deal with this will depend on how we play the cards but it is not easy
We are both different as to how we deal with stressful situations
I will update as we progress through our loss
It is now March and my husband is processing the situation well at all
When grief goes on for a long time with no improvement it is time to see a counsellsor to help you through the stages
If you can’t shift your feelings and release them it can fester into something very unpleasant
