Sturdee Eyes stocks a large range of designer glasses and sunglasses, as well as Health Fund 'no-gap' range for single vision lenses. All of our frames are prescriptable with Carl Zeiss lenses, with extras like reflection-free coatings, transitions, polarising and mirror tinting. We celebrate 40 years this year! ✨ In December of 1982 Bob & Dorothy opened our optometrist in Grace Brothers Warringah Mall (moving to Sturdee Parade, Dee Why in 2007).

Our Story

Our family run Optometry practice began at Grace Brothers, Warringah Mall in 1982 and moved to Sturdee Parade, Dee Why in 2007. Rob, Vicky, Dorothy, Louise, Georgia and Paula have over 35 years of combined experience, and pride ourselves on our customer service and loyalty to ensure all our patients are more than satisfied with their experience at our practice. Dorothy, Louise and Vicky are highly recommended by specialists and have years of experience with patients with all sorts of eye conditions, as well as extensive experience in babies and children’s eye testing. Our eye tests are fully bulk billed, excluding retinal imagery or contact lens consultations.

Our shop includes a large range of designer glasses and sunglasses, as well as Health Fund 'no-gap' range for single vision lenses. We use high quality German lenses from Carl Zeiss, and all orders include 2 years warranty with a lifetime of nose-pad/screw replacements, minor repairs and adjustments for free. Rob (aka. Bob or Mr Fix It), has been in the game since the 70’s and is often called upon by bigger companies for his dispensing expertise in fixing obscure problems.
