Return to Performance for the Upper Body

In lower body rehabilitation, return to run protocols are standard practice. We carefully progress volume, intensity and surface exposure to prepare tissues for real world environments.

In many sports, the upper body must absorb force rapidly and reproduce it just as quickly. That’s why at Motus, we prescribe upper body plyometrics just as often, to bridge the gap between traditional strength training and full return to sport.

Exercise Physiologist .ep has explained in detail why upper-body plyometrics matter in our latest blog post. If you’re unsure where to start, she can assess your baseline and set you up with purposeful upper body rehab to restore your ability and confidence post injury or surgery.
