🐴💙 A quick update for our equine clients 💙🐴

We’d like to let you know that our superstar equine vet, Dr Merrilyn, has had to permanently reduce her working days to 2 days per week while managing some ongoing health issues.

This means appointments with Merrilyn are currently more limited than usual.

We completely understand that many of you love seeing Merrilyn, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We’re very fortunate to have other skilled and experienced superstar vets in our team, who are ready and happy to help care for your horses.

We’d also like to kindly remind everyone to please be patient and respectful when speaking with our reception and clinical team. Our staff are working very hard to juggle appointments and support everyone as best they can, and a little kindness goes a long way.

Thank you so much to our wonderful clients for your continued support and understanding — it means a great deal to our whole team. 🐴💙

🌼Daisy 🌼
Daisy came in to see us after her family noticed she was having pain and some inappropriate urination. After an exam and an X-ray, we spotted a very interesting shape in her abdomen 👀

The culprit was a urinary crystal causing discomfort and trouble for this sweet girl.

Thankfully, we were able to safely remove it and Daisy is already feeling much more comfortable 💕

Urinary issues can be painful and aren’t always obvious at first—changes in urination are always worth checking out. Great job to Daisy’s owners for acting quickly!

Recently, we were called out to check a cow with a “facial abscess”… but turns out she just really loves ball sports 🎾😄

Surprise diagnosis: tennis ball stuck in the cheek!
Thankfully, Dr Antoinette sorted it and the patient is back to moo-ving happily again 🐄💚

Just another day in large animal practice! 🥰

We've had a human glucose monitor found in our car park. We suspect it may belong to an owner as we don't have any patients using this type of device currently. If you have lost one, please contact our lovely reception team with the brand so we can return it to right person ☺️
