Today our speech pathologist Laura took us on a deep dive into speech and language strategies. We are so grateful for Laura sharing her experience with us.

Juliet was outstanding when she present facts from her recent training and explored new resources which we will be using this term.

The day finished with a informative and relaxing session from Perfectly Balanced Life - Hypnotherapy, Meditation, Mindset Coaching YOGA

Somehow, Alice has officially survived (and thrived) at DeniSPOT for 2 whole years… which honestly deserves a medal, a parade, and probably a long nap!

In that time, Alice has:
- mastered the art of explaining things 17 different ways (and still making it fun)
- kept tiny humans engaged longer than most adults can manage themselves
- become a professional juggler of therapy goals, paperwork, and “just one more game”
- and somehow still shows up with patience, humour, and snacks (critical skillset)

We’re pretty sure she runs on equal parts caffeine, kindness, and sheer determination.

Alice, we are so lucky to have you. The kids adore you and the team is in awe of you!

What if studying regionally could actually give you more opportunity, not less? ✨

For Juliet, hybrid learning has made it possible to continue her speech pathology degree while living in Deniliquin and gaining real-world experience at the same time.

By studying through a flexible model with online and in-person practical components, she’s been able to stay on track, build a healthy balance between study, work and life, and work in the field she’s passionate about before even graduating.

Through her role at DeniSPOT as an allied health assistant, Juliet is gaining valuable hands-on experience, learning from experienced professionals, and building meaningful connections within the community and her future industry.

It’s a powerful reminder that regional living can open doors, giving young people the chance to study, grow their careers and build strong networks all at once.
