how lucky is our chef Annah! getting to rub shoulders with Maggie Beer and the governer general! but they both were there to celebrate Annah and our team for our efforts in completing the Maggie Beer program and being part of the movement to improve food in aged care!

👩‍🍳Merton Cooking Club 👨‍🍳
Cooking Club was well attended today with everyone ready to learn some 'Air Fryer' techniques. An appliance that has been around for a while but not everyone has one. We had fish n chips, chicken with roast vegetables and even a cake being made today, the smells were amazing.
Thank you again Kelsey for another successful session. See you all again next month!

🎨Did someone say lets do some painting!🎨
Check out some of these masterpieces. Something a little different from your normal canvas painting. These lovely ladies enjoyed a morning of painting. Some great colours and representations of what they like. It was very quiet...😆

🍔Merton Munch Bunch 🍔
We are full steam ahead for 2026 🎉 with our first Munch Bunch for January being held in the the lovely vineyard region of Pokolbin. A quick look around the Hunter Valley Shopping Village, where I think the favourite shop was the lolly shop 🍭🍬 and than it was off to Harrigan's Irish Pub for lunch 🍀.
A big thank you to our two wonderful bus drivers and a special thank you to Inspiring Abilities in Muswellbrook.
