Denmark Family Practice is looking for a friendly and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 2 days per week, with the opportunity to provide additional cover for annual leave and sick leave.

About the role:
• Front desk reception and patient interaction
• Appointment scheduling and phone enquiries
• General administrative duties
• Supporting our clinical team in delivering quality care

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has excellent communication and people skills
• Is organised and able to multitask
• Works well in a team environment
• Previous medical reception experience is desirable but not essential

📣 Coming to the region

The Services Australia Mobile Service Centre (MSC) will be visiting the region on Tuesday 17 February 2026, from 9am to 4pm, with the NDIA attending alongside them.

The NDIA looks forward to connecting with the community to talk about the NDIS, hear what’s working well, and understand any local challenges.

✨ Welcome Dr Emma to Our Practice! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Dr Emma, who will be joining our practice from February 🩺

Emma graduated from the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle) in 2023 and has gained valuable experience working across rural Western Australia, as well as at Midland Hospital. Her interests span all areas of general practice, with a special focus on preventative and lifestyle medicine, women’s health, and children’s health.

Emma is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and providing thoughtful care. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and living sustainably 🌱

Appointments with Dr Emma will be available from February — we look forward to welcoming her to our community!

If you’d like to support families in crisis this holiday season, you can drop your filled Dignity Bags here at Denmark Family Practice. We’ll ensure they’re delivered to Bunnings, where they’ll be collected and distributed to those in need through the Share the Dignity campaign.

👜 What to include:
Essential hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary items, and small comforts like a brush, socks, or body lotion. You can include luxury items as well. No open products.

Together, we can help families doing it tough feel cared for and respected this Christmas. 💕
