Wreath Laying – ANZAC Day 2026

Registrations are now open for individuals or organisations wishing to lay a wreath at this year’s ANZAC Day commemorative service.

If you would like to participate, please register by phone: 6424 0511 by Wednesday 15 April 2026.

Community members are warmly invited to attend one of the ANZAC Day services at the Devonport Cenotaph on Saturday 25 April 2026.

Service times:

Dawn Service: 5:45am

Commemorative Service: 11:00am

March commences from the Devonport Senior Citizens Club at 10:45am

We encourage the community to come together to remember and honour those who have served.

Spreyton Primary School Twilight Festival - Friday 20th March 3.30-7pm

Reminder raffle tickets are available to be purchased online via the following link. If you wish to remain anonymous if you are a winner, please indicate this on the ticket. Tickets can also be purchased from the office please fill out your name and contact details when purchasing. The raffle will be drawn on the 22nd March, with winners announced and notified the same day. Ticket prices are:

$2 per ticket
$5 for 3 tickets
$8 for 5 tickets
$15 for 10 tickets

All monies raised go directly back to our school and students and all support would be greatly appreciated.

International Women’s Day at Home Hill,

We have two fabulous events happening at Home Hill over the next couple of weeks!

We start with International Women's Day (Sunday 8 March 1.30-3pm). This year our special guest speaker is Alyssia Kennedy, Tasmania's Young Australian of the Year. After getting to know about Alyssia and the wonderful work she is doing we will share a casual afternoon tea with her and have the opportunity to explore Home Hill (the home of another extraordinary North West Coast woman, Dame Enid Lyons).

Our second exciting event is in conjunction with Toast For Kids Charity Inc. to present the National Launch of the Read Aloud to Your Child Every Day initiative. (Sunday 15 March, 11am - 1pm)

This is a free event for families - bring the children, a picnic and a rug, enjoy Home Hill's garden and listen to some special guests read aloud.

(There will be be a coffee van on site for the day)
