Let's talk about... freckles 🤎
Freckles are small, flat spots of pigment on the skin that usually appear tan, brown, or red. They form when certain areas of your skin produce more melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour.
Some people are born with genes that make them more likely to develop freckles, while for others, sun exposure can increase their number and make them darker.
Freckles are harmless, but it’s still important to have regular skin checks and protect your skin from the sun.
