We’re excited to welcome participants again to the evidence‑based GLA:D® (Good Life with osteoArthritis: Denmark) program. Developed by leading researchers in Denmark, GLA:D® combines education and targeted exercise to support people experiencing hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms.

These classes focus on improving confidence, strength, and everyday function—helping you move with less pain and more ease.

💪 Welcome to the Team, Sam! 💪 Accredited Exercise Physiologist

We’re excited to introduce Sam, our newest Exercise Physiologist at SportsCare Mawson.

Sam graduated from the University of Canberra and brings a strong background in evidence‑based rehabilitation, athletic performance, and strength training. He works with a wide range of clients — from those managing chronic and complex metabolic, cardiorespiratory, and neurological conditions, to athletes striving to improve performance and return safely to sport.

Sam is passionate about creating practical, individualised exercise programs that build confidence, resilience, and long‑term results. His experience spans high‑performance sport with both adults and adolescents, as well as clinical work across metabolic, neurological, cardiac, respiratory, and musculoskeletal presentations.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Sam running, strength training, or heading to the farm with his dogs, Narla and Ryeli.

We’re thrilled to have him on board and can’t wait for you to meet him.

We’re thrilled to introduce Christian, our newest physiotherapist at SportsCare Mawson.

Christian graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra and his experience spans from sporting populations to supporting NDIS clients of all ages. He’s passionate about helping people truly understand their bodies and giving them the tools they need to move forward with confidence.

Christian is a proud Southern Arrernte man with a long‑term goal of providing care and support to remote communities and his culture. A Canberra local, he loves spending time with his family, friends, and his dogs.

He’s now taking appointments and can’t wait to meet our community.
