My own personal experience of doing a reiki healing for my pet dog, Wolf, as she was being euthanized showed me that the soul gets relaaed from the body at the time of death as I witnessed it "zig-zagging" across the room and flying off into another dimension. The healing helped release the soul wholly and completed the physical journey effortlessly with love.
I've done many house clearings for people's homes where souls have not properly detached from this realm including souls of pets due to shock of sudden death (amongst other reasons ) which didn't allow the soul to fully exit this realm.
Healing can help to do this at any time after death. Actually it's a great service to do for another sentient being who may or may not know they are "stuck" in either their etheric, emotional or mental body🌈🌈🌈🦋.
