To our residents, clients, and families, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thank you for trusting MannaCare to walk alongside you this year. It has been a privilege to support you, share moments together, and be part of your lives.

Please note that our services will continue to operate during normal business hours, excluding public holidays. Our DRS and HMS services will close over the festive period and will return on 5 January 2026.

We hope the festive season brings you comfort, joy, and time with those who matter most, and we look forward to continuing to support you in the year ahead.

Last week, we came together to celebrate the year that was at our Staff and Volunteer Christmas Party.

It was a chance to pause, reflect, and recognise the people who make MannaCare what it is. We proudly acknowledged our Volunteer of the Year, celebrated staff milestones through our Years of Service awards, and recognised those who consistently live out the MannaCare values in their work each day.

We are incredibly grateful for our staff and volunteers. Their commitment, care, and professionalism underpin everything we do for our residents, clients, and community. Quite simply, we could not do this work without them.

Thank you for another year of dedication, teamwork, and heart. 🎄✨

Grevillea Social Support Group celebrated the festive season in high spirits, surrounded by our wonderful participants, their family members, staff and program volunteers. The celebration came alive with a surprise visit from Santa, followed by Christmas Carols and a fun-filled Rock n’Roll party that kept everyone dancing and smiling through out the day. A joyful celebration of connection, laughter and community spirit. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

As we move through summer, we encourage everyone to take extra care during extreme weather. During heatwaves, try to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day, drink plenty of water, and use fans or air conditioning where possible. Please watch for signs such as dizziness, confusion, or excessive sweating, which may require medical attention.

If you live in a bushfire prone area, make sure you have an evacuation plan and an emergency kit ready with water, food, and essential medications. During storms, check weather forecasts regularly, secure outdoor items, and stay indoors away from windows. If flooding occurs, be aware of local warnings, never walk or drive through floodwaters, and follow evacuation advice promptly.
Our team continues to monitor weather conditions closely.

The festive season is fast approaching, and what better way to celebrate than coming together as a team 🎄
Our HMS and Finance teams treated all MannaCare staff to a Christmas BBQ as a small thank you for the dedication, compassion and hard work shown throughout the year.
A wonderful afternoon of good food, connection and appreciation.

We celebrated Christmas in a truly special way at our end of year Memory Place Café session on Thursday 11 December 2025. It was a beautiful opportunity to connect, share laughter, and create meaningful memories together.

We are so grateful for our wonderful Memory Place Café community. Your warmth, smiles and stories made the day especially memorable. Here’s to many more moments of connection, joy and support in the year ahead.

Our next Memory Place Café session will be held on Thursday 13 February 2026. Bookings are now open.

want or need help making decisions, you can choose someone
you trust to support you.

This person can be registered as your supporter.
Registering a person as your supporter lets people, like aged
care providers and workers, know that you may want to be
