It has been very unclear from our government regarding the impact of the level 4 lockdown. Nevertheless, our team has been working hard to improve our safety measures in the past 3 months to ensure all our patients and staff are safe. As a result, we are confident to stay open and provide the essential specialist service. This includes the management of acute pain and swelling of a dental origin.

There are additional measures in place on top of our routine procedures. Please be patient with us and hopefully, we are able to assist you during this difficult period.

The level 1 restriction has finally arrived! This means that dentistry is pretty much back to normal except for patients with active COVID.

The Endodontic Centre has also been resuming our operation to match the government’s recommendations since last week! Social distancing and extra precautions have been put in place to ensure the safety of our patients and the beloved team. This has certainly create a lot more work and reduced our efficiency but it is totally needed to ensure everyone’s safety.

It has been a difficult 6 weeks for all of us and we hope that we are getting close to the end of the tunnel. We really appreciate your understanding and patience during this period. Let’s hope we continue to move forward!

***Public Health Notice***

Dear patients and our partnering colleagues,

As the confirmed cases continue to increase in Victoria and Australia, The Endodontic Centre has decided to reduce our operation from Monday 23/03/2020 for 2-5 weeks to help preventing the virus. We hope that by taking the proactive approach, we are able to protect our patients, staff and the family.

We are still contactable via email or phone but we are restricting our service to people in severe pain (irreversible pulpitis, acute apical abscess), facial swelling, or dental trauma. Appointments will be arranged in a way that patients will not be in contact with other patients and only limited staff will be present at the practice to reduce the risk of spreading.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused but wish your understanding and patience in these uncertain period, as we hold your health and safety of utmost importance.

We hope by taking the initiative in preventing the disease, we can stem the spread of COVID-19, and return to our normal routine as soon as possible.

Please take a good care of yourself. Wear masks if you are going out in public, wash your hands before touching your face or your body, avoid mass gathering and keep a safe distance from each other when possible.

Endodontic emergencies aren’t the only emergency we get at work. It is essential for the team to get annual first aid training and CPR update to ensure we are equipped to deal with the drama we face.
