NDIS Code of Conduct is an SOP for 13HomeCare

NDIS participant Lee just wants to get to class and chat with his friends along the way.

Instead of respecting Lee’s wishes, his support worker loudly interrupts the conversation, telling him what to do in front of everyone.

This interaction embarrasses Lee, making him feel powerless.

Moments like this can quickly weaken a person’s confidence and independence while they’re receiving support. To prevent interactions that limit participants’ choice and control, the NDIS Code of Conduct sets clear expectations on respecting individual rights.

In addition to our availabile activities in our day centre such as arts & craft, painting & colouring, movie room, karaoke, sensory room, arcade games, ping pong, and exercise equipments, we encourage our participants with interactive elements they love to do to assist develop their skills guided by therapist and continued by our dedicated support workers.

We support our participants with their passion.
