🐣🌼 Easter Pet Safety Tips 🌼🐣
Easter is a time for chocolate, celebrations, and family fun—but it can also bring hidden dangers for our furry friends. Here’s how to keep your pets safe this long weekend:
🍫 No chocolate, ever!
Chocolate (especially dark and baking chocolate) is toxic to dogs and cats. Keep Easter eggs and treats well out of reach.
🌸 Watch out for lilies
Beautiful but dangerous—many lilies are highly toxic to cats, even in small amounts.
🍬 Avoid sugary treats & xylitol
Hot cross buns, lollies, and baked goods can contain ingredients like raisins or artificial sweeteners that are harmful to pets.
🎁 Mind the wrappers & packaging
Foil, plastic grass, and small toys can cause choking or blockages if swallowed.

We understand it can be hard to get your cat to the vet. They aren't so easily won over as dogs with a treat and ear scratch. BUT it is important for them to have a health check, yearly vaccination, working and flea & tick treatments. We make your cat's visit as stress free as possible by having a cat only section in our reception, cat cage covers if needed and our vets and nurses use stress free handling to keep things nice and calm. We can also give you some tips to help make your kitty like their cat carrier! #
