👇FREE 15 minute discovery call and more 🔗 One thing know for sure is that the stress of trying to get everything 'perfect', will have more of a negative impact on your health than breaking the rules occasionally! As for me, I've been practising as a Naturopath for 16 years now, and it never ceases to amaze me what people don't know -even when they think they do. There is so much confusion, ridiculous information and overwhelm out there today. And let's be honest, it's clearly not working. Over the years I have developed a formula that works, and education that sticks. I help you change the trajectory of your health, and give you the tools to manage YOUR health for the long game. Your health really is your best investment. I LOVE the Naturopathic Philosophy,

I KNOW IT WORKS, and it actually makes perfect sense. I am a Mum, dog mum, friend, auntie, beach lover, truth seeker, rebel.....and I would love to help you get in control of your health the fun way.

Weight loss still has biological consequences.

Especially when you’re in a calorie deficit.

Your body still has to:

• maintain muscle
• produce energy
• regulate hormones
• run detox pathways

And those processes require nutrients.

Those building blocks don’t magically appear out of nowhere just because the scale is going down.

Modern tools can absolutely help people.
But biology still has rules.

Increase the demand. Increase the support.

Protein. Micronutrients. Resistance training.
And proper metabolic support.

This is where a holistic approach and nutritional medicine is critical.

Because the goal isn’t just losing weight.

It’s coming out the other side strong, metabolically healthy… and not completely ruined💪

Somewhere between all the things …. raising kids, building careers, learning boundaries, navigating hormones, relationships, family and a few hard life lessons… 😅something shifts.

We stop trying to meet everyone else’s expectations (catch you later people pleaser)…
And we start asking ourselves what actually feels good for US.

We realise:
• we don’t have to say yes to everything
• we don’t have to tolerate what drains us
• we don’t have to shrink ourselves to make others comfortable

And honestly… that kind of self-trust is powerful.

To the women navigating changing hormones, busy lives, families, work and still showing up every day…

You’re doing better than you think 👊

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍

Women in perimenopause are often stuck in constant ‘go mode’ - juggling kids, work, life and hormones.

Your nervous system was never designed to live there 24/7.

Today I had 101 things to do but I chose…

Beach all to ourselves.
Vitamin D.
Vitamin Sea.
Bare feet in the sand - grounding.
Connection.
Presence.
Perspective.

Honestly… this is medicine.

Perimenopause doesn’t always need more pushing, more discipline, more pressure.

Often it looks like taking your foot off the accelerator.

Saying no when your body is already busy saying yes to everything else.

Cancelling the rush.
Choosing slow.
Letting your nervous system exhale.

Sun. Sea. Slow moments with my boy.

Exactly what my nervous system ordered. 🫶

And honestly… this is the kind of nervous system support I help the women I work with create in their lives too.

I’ve been working with peptides clinically for the past 4 years - and I’ve have been studying them intensively.

The field of peptide and metabolic medicine is evolving incredibly quickly.

Recently I’ve been deep diving further into the work of Dr William Seeds, one of the pioneers of peptide and regenerative medicine.

One thing is very clear:

Weight loss injections can be powerful tools.

But they are exactly that… tools that change your biology and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

They influence:

• appetite signalling
• insulin sensitivity
• metabolism
• inflammation pathways
• brain–gut communication

… and so much more.

And because they affect so many systems in the body, they deserve proper support and guidance.

The reality is that most GP appointments are short, and there simply isn’t time to dive into things like:

• metabolic health
• muscle preservation
• gut function
• nervous system regulation
• hormonal changes (especially through perimenopause)

That’s where a holistic and integrative support is a game changer.. because peptides need individualised treatment plans.

I work with women who are:

• currently using weight loss injectables
• considering them
• or wanting to understand if they’re even the right option for their body.

Because these medications should always sit alongside support for:

• metabolism
• muscle preservation
• hormones (perimenopause is a huge one)
• gut health
• long-term weight stability

The goal isn’t just weight loss.

It’s sustainable metabolic health and feeling good in your body again. And it’s possible.

If you’re currently using weight loss injectables, or curious about whether they might be right for you, I’m offering a some free discovery calls to see if we’re the right fit to work together.

No pressure - just a conversation

I’m about to head in for a follow-up MRI.

And I’m genuinely grateful.

Grateful that we have access to imaging.
Grateful that I have a surgeon who takes my concerns seriously.
Grateful that I can say “this still doesn’t feel right” and be investigated further.

I’ve studied the human body for 25 years. I know it well. I listen closely.
Sometimes that’s annoying for me - because I do feel everything!

But I would be far more worried if I didn’t understand my body…
Or worse - if I ignored it.

Testing isn’t weakness.
Scans aren’t “medical overkill.”
Bloods aren’t something to avoid because you’re scared of what they might show.

They are information.

And information gives you power.

As a practitioner who works holistically, I am deeply pro-testing.
Bloods. Scans. Imaging. Follow-ups.
The more the merrier, the more clarity, the better the plan.

Your body whispers before it screams.

If something feels off - follow it up.
If you’ve been putting off that blood test, that scan, that referral…

Here’s your reminder.

Go get it checked.

Knowledge is safety.
Safety is power.
And power lets you move forward with confidence.

This is for a rather large benign bone cyst I have in my right Iliac Crest- it’s a long story for another time ✌️

Most women think fat loss is about discipline.

Eat less.
Exercise more.
Push harder.

But in perimenopause, your nervous system matters more than willpower.

Your brain is constantly scanning for safety.

If it senses stress - from poor sleep, under eating, overtraining, emotional pressure, or incorrect GLP-1 dosing - it releases cortisol.

Cortisol tells your body to hold onto fat.

Especially around the waist.

This isn’t your body working against you.
This is your body trying to protect you.

When your nervous system feels safe, cortisol lowers.
Your metabolism becomes more efficient.
Your body finally feels safe enough to let go of stored fat.

This is why sleep, nourishment, strength training, and nervous system support change everything.

Fat loss stops being a fight.
And starts becoming a response.

Follow along if you want to learn how to work with your perimenopausal body - not against it.

Most people think GLP-1 medications are the reason the weight comes off.

They’re not.

They’re simply restoring a signal your body was always designed to produce… but modern stress, hormones, poor sleep, and years of dieting have disrupted.

GLP-1 tells your brain:

• you’re safe
• you’ve had enough
• you don’t need to keep searching for food
• your body can finally access stored energy

This is why so many women say
“I’m doing the same things… but now it’s actually working.”

Because it’s not about willpower.
It’s about physiology.

And this is especially true in perimenopause, when hormonal shifts change hunger signalling, insulin sensitivity, and fat storage patterns.

But here’s the truth most people won’t tell you…

GLP-1 is not the magic.
It’s the opportunity.

The real power comes from using this window to rebuild:

• metabolic flexibility
• muscle mass
• nervous system safety
• stable blood sugar
• and trust with your body again

This is how results last.

Not restriction.
Not punishment.
Not fighting your body.

Working with it.

If you’re currently on a GLP-1, considering it, or curious whether it’s right for you - I help women use them intelligently, safely, and in a way that creates real, sustainable change.

Not dependency.

Comment or DM me “GLP” if you want to learn more.

You don’t need more discipline.
You need the right physiology.

GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro are powerful tools for weight loss.

They reduce appetite.
They improve blood sugar control.
They quiet food noise.

For many women - especially in perimenopause… that can feel life changing.

But higher dose does not automatically mean better results.

When calories drop too low, too quickly, the body reads that as stress.

Without enough protein, strength training and nutrient support, I’m seeing:

👉 Muscle loss
👉 Slower metabolic rate
👉 Fatigue
👉 Hair shedding from rapid weight loss
👉 Micronutrient depletion

And in perimenopause, you are already more prone to muscle loss, insulin resistance and higher cortisol.

Stack aggressive dosing on top without a framework - and rebound becomes more likely.

This is why a holistic approach is still needed.

Peptites can regulate appetite.

But you still need:

✅ Adequate protein
✅ Resistance training
✅ Iron and B vitamin monitoring
✅ Nervous system regulation
✅ A sustainable dosing strategy

The goal isn’t maximum suppression.

It’s the lowest effective dose while protecting muscle, metabolism and long term health.

GLP-1s aren’t the problem. Poor implementation is.

If you’re on one or considering it - and want to approach it intelligently, DM me “GLP”.

What brings you joy? … do more of that 🙌

16/10/2025

Forget asking “What do I need to do to hit my goals?”
Ask instead 👉 “What am I unwilling to do to get there?”

Total reframe, right?

It cuts through the BS and shows you how much you actually want that goal.

That question will expose your excuses, your limits… and your priorities.

For me? Accountability is the thing I can’t skip. It’s what gets me showing up when I’d rather not.

So ask yourself…

💭 What are you unwilling to do to achieve your health goal? ...… and is that the thing holding you back?

(and if accountability is one of those things you’re avoiding - that’s where I can help! 👊)
