Could you be holding yourself back in life?
It would have probably been about August last year, on a fairly normal sort of day, that I was absolutely stopped in my tracks by a simple statement.
“Cat, I think you’re holding yourself back.”
This was probably one of the most defining moments in my life to date. A simple question, a challenge. The truth, though not realised at the time, was yes. I was holding myself back. It was Todd, from Heal to Last, who saw this in me and had the courage to say it. Todd offers support to people curious about finding perspective on what might be limiting you in life.
Todd has been helping me for the last few months, gain some really fascinating perspectives on my life. The journey has been nothing less than profound. I truly believe he has a really special gift with helping people of all walks of life, discover what is limiting them and providing an opportunity to see things differently. This expanded awareness is absolutely incredible, because if you can see what is going on for yourself in a different light, then there is a really significant opportunity to choose other ways of doing things. For me, I have come to learn that themes of self worth, self love, fear and shame were at the core of why I was holding myself back.
Sitting here reflecting, I truly believe that I am a completely different version of myself. I feel so much more freer and empowered, working towards a life that is really aligned with my purpose in the world. I feel so much more capable of love; towards myself, my family and my community. Todd was the initiator of it all.
Todd is proudly very much part of our Cocoon community and is going to be running a free group healing session in Traralgon, on the 9th February. If you feel inspired to check it out, you can make a booking on his website (spaces are limited).
Todd is an incredibly approachable and kind human, who would love nothing more than to share his insight with you all. If you feel like chatting more to him, I urge you to reach out to him or consider booking into the group session. Link to Todd's website in linktree.
With love, Cat
