If you’ve ever snapped, raised your voice, or walked away thinking
“that didn’t go how I wanted”… you’re not alone.
Rupture is part of every close relationship.
What matters most is repair.
In this 60-minute parent workshop, you’ll learn:
• why kids can’t “logic” their way out of big feelings
• what to do in the moment (without making it worse)
• a simple 3-minute repair script that actually works
• how to reduce guilt and feel more confident after hard moments
This isn’t about perfect parenting.
It’s about knowing what to do next.

Our fabulous psychologist Virginia Watson is hosting a free webinar on helping your children with big feelings, very soon!

If you have been:
holding it all together for everyone else

feeling emotionally exhausted

running on empty

struggling with guilt, boundaries, or overwhelm

feeling disconnected from your own needs

pushing through while quietly depleted

this may be the moment to stop telling yourself to just cope better.
Enough is an 8-week women’s therapy group created for women who have been carrying too much for too long.
This is a small, supportive, therapist-led space to better understand your patterns, build practical coping skills, reduce self-criticism, and begin making room for your own needs too.
You are not weak for needing support.
And you do not need to wait until things get worse.

Enrolments are now open. Contact us to book a confidential suitability call or register your interest.

During C-Section Awareness Month, we acknowledge the many different ways babies enter the world — and the wide range of emotions that can come with those experiences. 🤍

For some parents, a caesarean birth is planned.
For others, it happens unexpectedly or in urgent circumstances.

Alongside joy and relief, there can also be grief, disappointment, fear, or a sense that things didn’t go as imagined. All of these feelings are valid.

You don’t have to minimise your experience or carry it alone.

For support, we provide Psychology and counselling services with telehealth or face-to-face options in Drysdale. To book an appointment, call us on 03 5292 8833 or visit our website https:/www.happyminds.net.au

you’ve ever thought:
“I’ve just messed this up”
This is the part most parents were never taught:
Rupture is normal.
Disconnection happens in every family.
But repair?
That’s what builds emotional safety.
And most of us either:
– avoid it
– over-apologise
– or turn it into a lecture
In this 60-minute workshop, you’ll learn:
• exactly what to say after yelling or snapping
• how to calm your child (and yourself) in the moment
• the Regulate → Repair → Reason framework
• simple scripts for real-life situations (screens, bedtime, homework)
You’ll leave with a clear plan you can use this week.

For many women, the harshest voice in the room is their own.
“I should be coping better.”
“Other people have it harder.”
“Why can’t I just handle this?”
“I’m too sensitive.”
“I’m failing.”
“I should be grateful.”
“I need to do more.”
Self-criticism often becomes so familiar that it starts to feel normal.
But living with a constantly critical inner voice can deepen exhaustion, shame, overwhelm, and disconnection.
In Enough, we help women better understand self-criticism, where it comes from, what keeps it going, and how to begin relating to themselves with more compassion and less attack.
Not through clichés.
Not through pressure.
But through insight, practical tools, and gentle therapeutic work.

Many women were never really taught boundaries.
They were taught to be kind.
To be easygoing.
To not upset people.
To keep the peace.
To put others first.
To not ask for too much.
Over time, this can turn into:
chronic people-pleasing

guilt when saying no

resentment after saying yes

losing touch with your own limits

feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotions

Boundaries are not about becoming hard, selfish, or uncaring.
Healthy boundaries help protect your energy, your wellbeing, and your sense of self.
In Enough, we explore the patterns underneath guilt, people-pleasing, and over-functioning, and support women to begin setting boundaries in more grounded and sustainable ways.

If this is an area you struggle with, Enough may be a good fit. Reach out to enquire.
