We’re still buzzing from the incredible International Day of People with Disability celebration!💜

A huge thank you to our amazing ECSS team for everything you did behind the scenes – from planning and setting up, to supporting participants throughout the day, and finishing strong after a long day packing up the event.
Whether it was supervising activities, lending a hand at the BBQ, helping at the stall, or even spreading festive cheer as Santa 🎅, your efforts made this event truly special.

🎄✨ Staff Christmas Party Fun! ✨🎄

On Friday, our incredible team came together to celebrate the year with a little mystery, a lot of laughter, and plenty of festive cheer!

We kicked things off at the Dubbo Escape Room, putting our teamwork to the test (and yes, there were plenty of hilarious moments 🤣). Then it was off to The Pastoral for a well-earned dinner to unwind, connect, and enjoy each other’s company.

We’re so grateful for the dedication, heart, and humour our staff bring to Empowered Choices every single day. Celebrating together is just the cherry on top. ❤️

💙 Celebrating Cal and the power of strong family support 💙

When Jarrah and Aaron first reached out for support for Cally, they had one important goal: that Cal would never miss out on the same experiences and opportunities his siblings enjoy.

Behind every milestone is a team — and in Cal’s case, his family has been the driving force.
Informal supports provided by loved ones are often the most impactful of all, shaping confidence, opportunity, and long-term success in ways that formal supports alone can’t.
This achievement isn’t just Cal’s… it’s a celebration for his parents and siblings too, who continue to be his biggest cheerleaders and strongest advocates. 💛

And today, we’re celebrating one of Cal’s amazing recent victories: representing NSW Primary School Sports Association! 🙌
