Mums - are you feeling guilty for putting yourself first?

You're not alone! Mummy guilt is a common phenomenon. But here's the good news: it's not selfish to put yourself first.

In fact, learning how to prioritize your own needs can actually help you become a better mother (not to mention partner, friend and employee).

So in this blog post, we'll look at why it's important for women - especially mothers - to learn how to place themselves first. We'll provide tips and advice on how you can make time for yourself, without feeling guilty.

Menopause doesn’t just affect hot flushes or moods. It changes your joints too.

This is something so many women brush off as ‘normal aging,’ but understanding the why is the first step to relief.

Here’s why your body feels different 👇

🧬 When estrogen drops, your joints lose some of their natural cushioning and lubrication. That means more friction and more inflammation which feels like stiffness or ache.

💪 Estrogen also helps keep muscle mass up. As it falls, muscles shrink, and your joints end up carrying more of the load.

🦴 And then there’s bone health. During menopause, bones thin faster, which makes joints less shock-absorbent and a little more sensitive.

All of these changes together explains why so many women suddenly feel those nagging aches creep in during midlife.

That’s exactly what we talk about inside the Pause Posse community where I share real strategies, resources, and support so you don’t have to figure it out alone.

"My children come first, even at my expense."

While that's a very noble mentality to have, the truth is that sometimes you need to put yourself first.

Over the years, I've worked with many mums, and I've noticed that most if not all of them carry some sense of what I call 'mummy guilt' – the feeling that you're being selfish for taking care of yourself.

But what I’ve learned is that your family and friends are actually happier and more fulfilled when you take the time to put yourself first.

So if you're a mum and you want to learn how to do this without feeling guilty, check out my blog post and find out why it's time to start prioritizing your own needs!

I walked into the Mojo Reboot Seminar a little unsure of how it would go.

You know… the quiet “What if?” thoughts.

But I walked out reminded of something really important — so many women are silently carrying this.

Low libido and reduced sexual pleasure after 40 are far more common than we talk about.

And no, it’s not something you have to just accept.

Hearing women say, “I thought it was just me,”
was exactly why this conversation needed to happen.

And it’s not over yet.
Seminar #2 is happening this Saturday, Feb 14, in Dubbo.

If this has been sitting on your heart, come join us.

Reserve your seat via the link in bio 🤍

Just a few spots remain, and registration will close as soon as they’re filled.
