On Tuesday, HoH’s Audiometry Nurse Amy, Nurse Screener Dana & Puppets Sam & Lucy visited Insight Early Learning Southlakes, Dubbo for their very first screening day! 👂✨

Insight Southlakes is the latest service to join the Hear Our Heart Ear Bus Project, and we’re so excited to be expanding our program across more early learning centres, giving even more children the opportunity to access hearing and ear health support. ❤️

The day ran smoothly, with wonderful staff and enthusiastic little ones who couldn’t wait to hop on the bus! We’re looking forward to visiting again in the new year and continuing to grow our reach across the community. 🚌

Team HoH visited Dubbo Public School yesterday! 👂✨

HoH Nurse Screener Dana was our clinician for the day, supported by HoH Project Manager Michaela. With the weather warming up, it was lovely to see how excited the students were to welcome The HoH Ear Bus back for Term 4 testing!

We cannot believe we’re already planning for Term 1, 2026… time sure flies when you’re busy helping little ears! ❤️🚌

🌟 We’re coming to Yeoval! 🌟

The Hear Our Heart Ear Bus Project will be visiting Yeoval Preschool for a Preschool & Community Clinic offering FREE ear health and hearing screenings for children aged 6 months to 18 years

📅 Wednesday 12 November 2025
🕙 10:00am – 2:00pm
📍 Yeoval Preschool Car Park, King Street, Yeoval

These screenings help identify hearing concerns early, support learning and behaviour, and improve long-term outcomes for our kids.

If you’re in the area, pop in and see us!
No appointment needed. Walk-ins welcome.

💛 No fee – donations to support the Ear Bus Project are appreciated.

Hear Our Heart’s Nurse Screener Dana and Audiometry Nurse Amy had a wonderful morning at Goodstart Baird Drive yesterday, providing hearing and ear health screenings for the little ones.

Early ear health support matters and we’re grateful to partner with early learning centres who share that vision!

Have you ever wondered what some of the HoH volunteers get up to every school holidays to help our hard working HoH staff?

❤️ pull everything out of the HoH bus and clean clean clean….

✅ wipe inside the cupboards
✅ polish the cupboard doors
✅ scrub the lino floor
✅ polish with rejuvenate proudly
supplied by Crampton’s Carpets
✅ wash, wipe and apply vinyl
protector inside the driving cabin
✅ wash the HoH banner
✅ polish outside plastics

Some extra additions this time though with an unexpected flat tyre and removing a damaged sticker, all expertly supervised by Barney the pug!

❤️A big thank you to Audiologist Jacqui Winters! ❤️

This week we had the pleasure of having SUPER Audiologist Jacqui Winters volunteer her time and expertise on the Hear Our Heart Ear Bus!

Together with our team, Jacqui visited Narromine Preschool, Regand Park, and Peppercorn ELC, helping test and educate children about healthy ears and hearing.

We had such a fabulous time with Jacqui on board and truly appreciate the time she gives to support our program and the children we see. It’s always a pleasure to have her smiling face on the bus! 👂🚌✨
