CELEBRATING WOMEN OF THE DUBBO REGION 💜International Women’s Day was celebrated Sunday 8 March, and we are taking a moment to celebrate some the incredible women who embody this year’s theme: Give To Gain.
💜Celebrating the Women of the Dubbo Business Chamber - Give To Gain | IWD 2026💜
For these women, volunteering with organisations like the Dubbo Business Chamber is about so much more than giving time - it’s about investing in the community we live and work in. They contribute because they believe in being part of something bigger, helping create opportunities for connection, growth and collaboration across our region.
Through supporting initiatives that strengthen local businesses, encourage community engagement and help shape the future of the Dubbo region. The Chamber thrives because of people who are willing to share their energy, ideas and heart to bring events, programs and conversations to life.
Volunteering also creates powerful opportunities for connection. By bringing people from different industries and backgrounds together, it sparks new ideas, partnerships, and friendships that benefit individuals and the wider community.
And with every new connection comes learning. Every story, every experience, and every perspective adds to our understanding of the people who make up our community - their challenges, their aspirations and their contributions. This deepens relationships and strengthens our sense of belonging.
Ultimately, when people give their time, the whole community gains. We build a culture of participation, support and shared responsibility. This is how strong, vibrant, resilient communities grow - through people stepping forward with their skills, their ideas and their willingness to help others rise.
Stronger together 💜
